Matheson & Roberts, Lilies
Adam & Jo-Ann Paterson (co owners of Matheson and Roberts) have extensive plant knowledge and are always eager to help. Situated at the Southern end of the covered platform they would like to remind customers that now is the ideal time of year to plant lilies. They currently have a number of lilies available from their stall including a few Ilium regale, L.A Hybrids and Orientals.
Lilies require a free draining, well worked soil that has had plenty of well rotted compost added to it. You can find out more about these beautiful flowers by downloading a fact sheet from the Otago Farmers Market website.
