Baked Apple Quarters
Apples x 1 to 1-1/2 per servingSultanas
2 x tbsp Golden Syrup
1/2 cup Water
Small slice of Butter
Cream, Ice-cream, Yoghurt
Peel, core and quarter the apples, and arrange the quarters in a pie or flan dish. Sprinkle with sultanas, drizzle golden syrup and water, and dot with butter. Place in a moderate oven for about 20 minutes or until the apples are tender.
Serve in dessert bowls, spoon the golden sauce over the apple, and add cream, ice-cream or yoghurt.
