Dark Spice coKo Lounge Hot Chocolate



Makes 2 Mugs

2 cinnamon sticks

1.5 teaspoons ground nutmeg

1.5 teaspoons ground cloves

1x star anise pod

2 Tablespoons coKo Lounge Cacao

2 Tablespoons maple syrup

2 cups of hazelnut mylk (Ronia & Pippi)


Put cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, star anise, cacao and maple syrup in a large saucepan with 250ml of water.

Bring to a gentle boil over a medium heat.

Stirring until maple syrup and cacao are dissolved.  Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  

Stir in the hazelnut mylk and continue to heat for a minute or so, until barely simmering.  

Ladle into mugs. 

Can also be enjoyed served chilled with a few ice cubes.
