Fried Broccolini with Hazelnuts

  • 3 cloves of garlic – peeled and crushed
  • ¼ cup coconut oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup hazelnuts (Dunford Grove)
  • 1 bag broccolini (Wairuna Organics)
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Heat the oil in a fry pan, on a medium heat.
  2. Add the garlic, hazelnuts and a pinch of salt and gently heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Once the garlic is beginning to brown and smell nutty, add in the broccolini, chilli flakes, salt and pepper.
  4. Stir fry for approx. 7 minutes or until vibrant green and charring on the edges.
  5. Squeeze over lemon juice and serve.
