Getting the mix right The philosophy of the Otago Farmers Market Trust has always been to provide a healthy range of produce for their discerning customers.

They have always tried to follow a formula when balancing the array of goods available 

70%   Fresh Produce - fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, plants, flowers, eggs
15%   Value Added Produce - cheese, bread, sauces, chutnies, jams,  honey, liquor etc
15%   Ready to Eat Produce - takeaway produce - coffee, juices,and brunch items

The accompanying chart shows the current mix of vendors and produce running at 67%, 20%, and 13% - so we think we are getting the mix right
