Hi there
Looking forward to a calm weekend after the crazy gales that swept through the Market last Saturday. Many of our vendors did a good job of core muscle strengthening as they held everything down for a few hours, many thanks for all who still came out to shop with us. It was a happy vibe & there were no real wait times to get in now that the numbers have extended to 300 in the Market making it easy & safe to get to your favourite stalls. This week Tunanopal are back with a new streamlined Mexican menu & Esther from Company of Flowers will be back with oodles of gorgeous tulips she has been growing in local backyards around town.
The same protocols are in place this week, mask wearing (unless you have an exemption or for children), scanning in & keeping the 2mt distancing. Please use the MAIN MIDDLE GATE on Anzac Ave & depart from there as well (all other gates are blocked off). If you are parking in the north carpark, please walk around to the main front gate, this is so we can track numbers. There should be an easy flow, so we won’t have the click & collect table this week. We also ask if you could please take food off site to eat from our many ready to eat vendors.
Only 12 Markets till Christmas!!!!
We look forward to seeing you all this weekend. Bring your cash, bags, keep cups, containers, mask, charged phone for scanning.
Shop your way around Otago this weekend…. at the Market!
Ngā mihi

We hail ourselves “spray free” but we really should say: “no nasty sprays”! Spring is the time to give the trees a boost, organic nitrogen, seaweed extract and micronutrients. Now we just need someone to refine the products, so it doesn’t work on grass!
Did you know? Glyphosate works by disrupting specific enzyme pathways leaving the plant susceptible to disease. If you did this to an animal (or person) you’d be in serious hot water! We have no interest in having such chemical anywhere near our products!
