Hi there
Thanks to everyone that shopped with us at our Christmas Market, so many of our vendors sold out completely by mid morning. Hopefully you enjoyed your Christmas Day feast (even though strawberries were scarce as hen’s teeth & I found out that morning that only pre-orders were available, such is the nature of the weather that week). We are open again this FRIDAY 31st Dec (not Saturday) for our final Market of the year & will close by 11am so everyone can get home or on the road for new year celebrations. I’m calling it our New Year’s Eve Morning Mini Market as there will be fewer vendors attending, as this is an opportunity for many of them to take a well-deserved break. But there will still be plenty to choose from in the essential supplies line of milk, eggs, bread, fruit & vegies, etc. AND of course heaps of cherries, of which more & more varieties keep appearing! And The Big Fat Cherry Co will be there! There will be plenty of stone fruit. Pluots make an appearance this week too & there are options for GUD coffee & brunch options to takeaway.
Please note that the old Cadbury Carpark is not available for Market goers as it is a private carpark being leased by Southern DHB & of course they are still hard at work on a Friday. There will be parking in the North carpark beside the Market (we are sectioning off an area for their leaseholders).
Remember too, that only all our authenticated, verified Otago Farmers Market vendors are all within our gates, who have our tick of approval. Make sure you support them inside the Market carpark & platform & you will get a quality product.
Remember to bring CASH as some of our vendors are cash only.
And a reminder that food & beverages are to be taken OUT of the Market to be consumed, as masks should be kept ON at all times.
We look forward to seeing you all on FRIDAY. And always remember your keep cup & takeaway containers this summer!
Shop your way around Otago this weekend…. at the Market! Happy holidays, stay safe, eat well & thank you for your support over this last tricky, tough year.
