Turkish Delight Gummies


Ingredients

Orange Blossom and Plum

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup orange blossom and plum kombucha (Kapowai Brewing Company)
  • 2 TB stevia
  • Juice and zest of 1 orange
  • 2 TB powdered gelatin
  • 8 TB cold water
  • 50gm dark choc

OR

Pomegranate and Rose

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pomegranate and rose kombucha (Kapowai Brewing Company)
  • 2 TB stevia
  • ¼ cup pomegranate juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1 tsp rose water (optional)
  • 2 TB powdered gelatin
  • 8 TB cold water
  • 50gm dark choc

Method

Instructions:  

  1. ‘Bloom’ gelatin by combining with the cold water. Set aside.
  2. Add the Kombucha, orange zest and juice, and stevia in to a saucepan and heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. Pour through a sieve (to catch the zest), over the bloomed gelatin. Stir until the gelatin melts.
  4. Pour into silicone molds. Set in the fridge until firm.
  5. Melt chocolate in a metal or glass bowl over a pot of simmering water.
  6. Pop the gummies out of the molds and dip them in the chocolate.
  7. Let the chocolate set.
  8. Enjoy!
